Lincoln City have agreed a one-month loan deal with Gillingham centre-half Josh Gowling.
The 26-year-old began as a trainee at West Brom and then spent two seasons in Denmark before spells with Bournemouth, Carlisle and Hereford.
He was a regular for Gillingham in League One last season and has made 11 appearances in the current campaign.
Gowling is Lincoln boss Steve Tilson's second signing, after midfielder Luke Howell joined on loan from MK Dons.
Gowling and Howell, who also agreed a month-long deal at Sincil Bank, could make their Imps debuts at Wycombe in League Two on Saturday.
