Lincoln City boss Steve Tilson happy with FA Cup draw

Steve Tilson
Tilson twice took former club Southend to the FA Cup fourth round

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson feels the FA Cup first round draw at home to Nuneaton Town gives the Imps a good chance to progress.

Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "First and foremost it's a home tie for us.

"It is a potential banana skin and they will have nothing to lose, but if we do it right and go into the game with the right attitude we should be OK."

The tie against the Blue Square Bet North side will be played at Sincil Bank on Saturday, 6 November.

Last season the Imps, under Chris Sutton, reached the third round of the FA Cup for the first time in 11 seasons, beating non-league Telford and Northwich Victoria before losing 4-0 at Premier League side Bolton.

Tilson twice led his previous club Southend to the fourth round of the competition, where they lost to Premier League Spurs and Chelsea.
