Howell is Steve Tilson's first signing as Lincoln City manager

Lincoln City have signed midfielder Luke Howell on a month's loan from League One side MK Dons.

The 23-year-old, who can also play at right-back, has made 67 appearances for the Dons but only one start and two substitute appearances this season.

Imps boss Steve Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "He's decent on the ball and has good creativity.

"He can also pop up in the box which is why we've brought him in, he can give us something extra up front."

Howell, who has been given the number 15 shirt by the Imps and could make his debut at Wycombe on Saturday, is Tilson's first signing as boss.
