| Friday, 13 December, 2002, 10:49 GMT Orient want Miller Leyton Orient manager Paul Brush is hoping to sign loan defender Justin Miller on a permanent contract. Miller is due to play the last match of his loan move from Ipswich Town against Torquay on Saturday. But Brush is hoping Ipswich boss Joe Royle releases the centre-half from his contract, due to expire next summer, so that Orient can sign him. He said: "At the moment he`s going back but we want to sign him permanently. The money is there. "Ipswich know that and the two chairmen are talking so we hope something can be done." The 21-year-old South African has spent three months at Brisbane Road, but is yet to discuss his future with Ipswich. |
