| Tuesday, 11 February, 2003, 09:57 GMT Daggers in for Watts Play-off hopefuls Dagenham & Redbridge have strengthened their squad with the capture of Leyton Orient striker Steve Watts. Watts has joined the Daggers on a month's loan and is included in Garry Hill's squad for their trip to Telford on Tuesday. The 26-year-old striker is currently down the pecking order at Brisbane Road and has made his third loan move of the campaign. Watts spent a month with Lincoln City at the turn of the year and at the start of the season enjoyed a productive spell in the Conference with Margate, scoring four times in seven games. "I'm sure he can do a good job for Dagenham and put himself in the spotlight," Orient boss Paul Brush told the club's website. "He needs a fresh environment and challenge having spent most of the season in the background here." |
