Everton striker Lukas Jutkiewicz has finally signed on loan for Huddersfield until the end of the season.
Town had hoped to land the former Southampton and Swindon trainee before the January transfer window closed, but failed due to a paperwork problem.
Jutkiewicz is now in line to face Leeds United at the Galpharm in Saturday's West Yorkshire derby clash.
The 19-year-old said: "I think it is quite important for me to get out and play some regular first-team games."
He added: "Hopefully I can then go back and push my way into the Everton first-team or I can do well elsewhere.
"A few of the lads have told me what playing Leeds means to people around here.
"It's a big one and if the manager decides he wants to involve me, I think I will be ready for it.
"I have been told that the atmosphere is pretty special, which can only help. I'm really looking forward to it."
