Parker has made 23 appearances for Huddersfield this season

Hartlepool United have signed Huddersfield Town striker Keigan Parker on a month's emergency loan.

Parker, 26, will join up with Chris Turner's side ahead of the visit of Tranmere Rovers to Victoria Park in League One on Tuesday.

The former St Johnstone striker joined the Terriers from Blackpool on a free-transfer in May 2008 after four seasons at Bloomfield Road.

He has made 23 appearances for Lee Clark's side, scoring twice.
