Histon boss Steve Fallon has called on his side to make the most of a run of home matches following Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Barrow.
It is the first time this season that the Stutes have lost back-to-back matches in the league.
Fallon told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "We're still up there, we've got three games in hand and eight left at home.
"We've got to start picking up the points at home, we're having a blip at the moment, but we can pick it up."
Histon have enjoyed a hugely successful season spending most of the campaign in the Blue Square Premier play-off places.
The Stutes have 12 matches remaining this season, three in hand on Cambridge United in second.

Fallon wants to see his side re-create the eight game winning streak which saw them steam up the league during late autumn.
"Hopefully the Barrow result will prove a kick-start towards picking up points again, it's a tough league but we know that," he said.
"There wasn't too much wrong with the performance, we didn't have much luck in front of goal and we got done by a wonder-goal."
