James Constable celebrated earning a permanent deal with Oxford by helping them defeat 10-man Histon.

Jack Midson had given Histon the lead by drilling home his 17th goal of the season from outside the box.

Histon then had Danny Wright dismissed for elbowing goalkeeper Billy Turley with more than an hour remaining.

Constable volleyed home a Craig Nelthorpe cross to level and then reacted the quickest to a loose ball to keep his side's play-off hopes alive.
