Histon boss Steve Fallon feels his side looked sluggish in their 1-0 defeat by Kettering on Saturday.
Despite playing the final half hour with an extra man following Guy Branston's dismissal, the Stutes failed to make a breakthrough.
Fallon told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "For the first time in a little while we looked a little bit tired.
"Losing Danny Wright early on knocked us back a bit as well, but we have to recovery from those sorts of setbacks."
Reports suggest Wright could miss the rest of the season after picking up a hamstring injury.
Histon go to Barrow on Tuesday evening where Fallon will be looking for an improved performance.

"We have got to bounce back and if we are going to do things in this league our ability to bounce back needs to come through once again," he said.
"But it wasn't a poor performance, they're a good side and they're very, very strong."
