Hereford United manager Simon Davey has warned his side they must win at Barnet to give themselves a launch pad from which to turn around their season.
The Bulls are bottom of the Football League but Saturday's opponents are just one place above.
"It's a big fixture for us and we have to go there and win the game," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We need to be higher up the table and Saturday is the turning point for me as we need to pick up three points."
Since winning their opening day fixture against Crewe Hereford have picked up only two points from a possible 24.
Davey is well aware he is under pressure amid growing dissatisfaction among supporters over the club's poor start to the season.
"We all know that when you walk into a manager's office at any level at any football club inevitably you will be sacked," he said.
"Whether that will be in a week, six weeks or three years you know that.
"You have just got to make sure you do your utmost to make sure you stay in your job."
Anything but victory against Barnet will increase the pressure on Davey and his team.
"It'll be a game in which we will have to concentrate for the 90 minutes and come away with the right result," he said.
"You can then start picking off other teams above you.
"At some stage you have to start climbing the table and Saturday is where it starts."
There will be full commentary on Barnet v Hereford United on 94.7 FM on BBC Hereford and Worcester.
