Parker has made three appearances for Pools since joining on 2 March
Hartlepool United manager Chris Turner believes the addition of Keigan Parker to his existing strikers has brought new life to the club's forward line.
Parker, on loan from Huddersfield, has linked up well with players such as Joel Porter and Michael Mackay and Turner has high hopes during his stay.
"Joel and Keigan had a lot of good movement and interplay that we haven't had for a few weeks," he told BBC Tees.
"I'd like to think that for the next few games we can keep them together."
The former St Johnstone and Blackpool striker has made three appearances for Pools since joining on Monday, 2 March.
Turner has seen the return of Australian striker Porter, as well as players such as defender Jamie McCunnie and winger Matty Robson, make tentative steps toward full fitness.
However, despite the small size of his squad and the relatively intense run-in to the season, Turner is wary of pushing them into action too early.
"We'll have to assess the squad on Thursday and Friday because this surface will have taken a lot out of the legs of the players and we've got to get that back in before Saturday," he said.
"There are players coming out of the treatment room but can you throw them into big games that they're going to play in straight away, because they can certainly break down."
