Lange in the Champions League and Uefa Cup for Club Brugge
Hartlepool have signed striker Rune Lange from Norwegian Tippeligaen side Valerenga on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move.
Lange, 31, enjoyed his most profitable spell in Belgium with Club Brugge where he scored 54 goals in just 108 games and played in the Champions League.
Trabzonspor paid �4m for the Norwegian international in 2000, who won his only cap against Wales in 2004.
He had been on loan with former club Tromso since August, prior to his move.
Lange becomes Pools' third loan signing of the transfer window following moves for Watford forward Liam Henderson and Blackpool striker Daniel Nardiello.
