Crewe boss Dario Gradi has said he is delighted with the progress of strikers Clayton Donaldson and Shaun Miller.
Miller notched his 10th goal of the season in Monday's win over Shrewsbury, while Donaldson has 12.
Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke: "There is more to come from both of them - they have great potential.
"They are linking up better as a partnership and passing the ball more, instead of trying to have four or five touches all of the time."
He added: "They have to keep improving and make the right decisions."
The 26-year-old Donaldson, who arrived from Hibernian in 2008, is the club's top scorer this season.
"Clayton is always a handful for defenders," said Gradi.
"He doesn't have to do too much more to play above this league and I think he can."
Former Alex trainee Miller, 23, signed a new two-year deal in November.
"Shaun has always been a goalscorer and I often compare his potential to Nicky Maynard," said Gradi.
"I always thought he would be his successor."
