Abbott allowed striker Andy Cook to stay with Barrow this week
Carlisle United manager Greg Abbott says he does not plan on bringing in any new players during the emergency loan window.
"I'm largely happy with the squad we have," Abbott told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"When you consider players like Kevan Hurst and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson weren't even in our 18 at the weekend, I think we're alright at the minute.
"It could change if players who are out of the squad are uncomfortable with that but we're OK as it stands."
The Cumbrians currently have three loan players in their squad in defenders James Chester from Manchester United and Lubomir Michalik from Leeds United and winger Ben Marshall from Stoke City.
His loan [at Darlington] ends next week and I'm sure we'll hear some time this week whether they want to extend that
Greg Abbott on the future of striker Richard Offiong
Abbott has also allowed young striker Andy Cook to stay with Blue Square Bet Premier side Barrow for a second month.
The immediate future of striker Richard Offiong remains uncertain with the player's one-month loan deal at Darlington set to end next week.
The 27-year-old has yet to complete a full 90 minutes for the Quakers and has failed to score.
Abbott said: "They're looking after him and he's trying his best for them and I'm fine with that.
"His loan ends next week and I'm sure we'll hear some time this week whether they want to extend that."
