Cook joined Carlisle as a trainee in July 2009

Barrow have extended the loan deal of Carlisle United forward Andy Cook for a further month.

The 19-year-old has impressed for Barrow, having already made five appearances this season.

Carlisle manager Greg Abbott told the club's website: "Barrow are treating Andy really well at the moment and this will keep him involved.

"Dave Bayliss and Darren Sheridan thinks very highly of him and we know that they will give him a chance."

Cook spent time on loan at Holker Street last season where he scored twice in four appearances.

He is expected to be in the squad for Saturday's home game against Eastbourne Borough.
