| Tuesday, 11 February, 2003, 13:01 GMT Carlisle make Green move Carlisle United are in talks with Hull City over the transfer of Tigers' midfielder Stuart Green, according to BBC Radio Cumbria. The Whitehaven-born midfielder attended United's draw with Kidderminster after being left out of the Hull team on Saturday. It was a move which resulted in a fine of two weeks' wages by the Humberside club. Carlisle chairman John Courtenay is in talks with his opposite number Adam Pearson over a move for the player. Pearson will ask for at least the �150,000 fee that Hull paid Newcastle for his services less than two months ago. Green played 16 times for Carlisle last season while on loan from the Magpies. |
