| Thursday, 13 February, 2003, 13:57 GMT Raven joins Carlisle Carlisle United have completed the signing of Paul Raven until the end of the season. The 32-year-old, who was sent-off twice within the space of a week earlier this season, last played for the Mariners in October. The ex-West Brom defender will make his debut in Saturday's Division Three game at Oxford. Raven will replace Darren Kelly who is expected to be sidelined for three weeks with a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, United are still trying to agree a fee with Hull City for midfielder Stuart Green. Manager Roddy Collins told BBC Radio Cumbria: "We are nearly there and I'd like to think Stuart could be a Carlisle United player in time for Tuesday's game against Shrewsbury." |
