| Monday, 29 April, 2002, 12:09 GMT 13:09 UK Gazza in Burnley exit ![]() Gascoigne is set to end his career abroad Burnley Manager Stan Ternent has revealed that midfield star Paul Gascoigne has probably played his last game for the Clarets. The former England international signed from Everton in March to help the Clarets' promotion push. But having just missed out on the play-offs, Ternent told the club's website: "I don't think Paul will stay. "We said all along that we would take a look at it at the end of the season. "He has a lot of offers on the table and I don't see him being with us next season." Gascoigne has attracted interest from clubs in the USA, Dubai and Saudi Arabia and seems certain to end his career abroad. |
