| Friday, 14 February, 2003, 11:33 GMT Cadamarteri set to play on Striker Danny Cadamarteri has reached an agreement over the clause in his contract that put his Bradford career in jeopardy. Cadamarteri's contract stipulated that the former Everton star could claim an extra 1,000 a week after he had played 30 games for the Bantams. However, club officials were reluctant to to do this because of the injury concerns surrounding the player. Cadamarteri has now recovered from a troublesome knee injury, but may still have to undergo an operation which could keep him on the sidelines for up to a year. A deal has now been reached with the 23-year-old on a day-by-day basis that means the highly-rated striker is now available for selection. |
