| Tuesday, 11 February, 2003, 22:53 GMT Wimbledon 2-2 Bradford Wimbledon and Bradford shared the spoils from a thrilling end-to-end contest at Selhurst Park. Claus Jorgensen and Ashley Ward twice gave Bradford the lead either side of half-time. But Wimbledon battled back, with Gareth Ainsworth and then skipper Neil Shipperley providing the point-saving points. Bradford started brightly with Danny Forrest testing Dons keeper Kelvin Davis from 25 yards. Wimbledon responded immediately with Republic of Ireland international David Connolly driving in a low shot from the edge of the area which was well saved by City's Aidan Davison. Denied Shipperley wasted a glorious opportunity on 22 minutes when Davison saved his close-range header and two minutes later Connolly fired just over from inside the area. After Michael Standing's audacious lob drifted just over, Bradford took a 27th mminute lead through Jorgensen whose volley gave Davis no chance. The Dons levelled almost immediately after the interval, with Ainsworth converting Connolly's cross from close range. Ward fired Bradford back into a 62nd minute lead, firing in after Forrest's excellent cut-back. Deserved Wimbledon were denied an equaliser when Mikele Leigertwood's header struck the post and Damien Francis brought a smart save from Davison. The Bradford keeper again denied The Dons when he saved Connolly's shot with his feet but Wimbledon's dominance was eventually rewarded on 71 minutes. Shipperley fired home from eight yards after some good work from Connolly. Nigel Reo-Coker and Damien Francis tried to win the home side maximum points late on, but Bradford returned to Yorkshire with a deserved point.
