Bath City manager Adie Britton says the performance of Joe Burnell in the 3-1 defeat at Luton was a big plus.
The 30-year-old former Bristol City midfielder arrived at Twerton Park in the summer but his appearances have been restricted by injury.
"He came on and I thought he dominated the second half of the game," Britton told BBC Radio Bristol.
"Joe's passing was excellent and he broke things up so I'm really, really pleased," Britton added.
"I signed him in the summer and knew it would take a little while before he was fit.
"I knew what a good player he was, I saw a lot of him at Bristol City.

"I also knew what an inspiration he was around the dressing room and the respect he's got."
Bath were 3-0 down in just over half an hour, the first goal coming as a result of a goalkeeping error from Ryan Robinson.
It is not the first time this season that Robinson has been at fault but Britton refused to be drawn on whether he was looking at other options.
"I need to go back and look at the DVD before I comment on it," he said.
"We don't make knee-jerk reactions as we've built a team over four or five years. It's evolution not revolution.
"If a change needs to be made then we'll make it but I just don't want to talk about any individual weaknesses."
But despite such a poor start to the game Bath prevented Luton from adding to their tally and Britton was delighted with his team's response.
"For the last hour of the game we had the football, simple as that," he added.
"It's just a shame we couldn't have scored a second goal because they might have panicked.
"If someone had looked at the second half of the game you wouldn't have known who was at the top and who was near the relegation zone."
Bath City are currently just inside the drop zone but have a game in hand on those around them.
