Bath City assistant manager Lee Howells says his side are not scared of the Blue Square Bet Premier despite their slow start to the season.
The Romans conceded a late goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Eastbourne, a result which left them only outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
Howells told BBC Bristol: "We have had a good look at it and there's nothing to be frightened at.
"But it is going to take a bit of time to get up this league."
Bath have 15 points from 14 matches since their promotion from the Blue Square South last season.

"We are playing some good football," added Howells. "It's the next step for us.
"It's like a jigsaw and we're starting to get a few players back, but we still have some quality players injured.
"Bit by bit we know what we want to do and know where we want to get to.
"It's another step until we can get a certain amount of points before we can relax, and we know we are good enough for it."
