Barrow joint-boss Dave Bayliss has been fined by the club for his role in a brawl which took place after their 2-0 defeat by Kettering in February.

The brawl was was sparked by an injury to Bluebirds striker Gregg Blundell at the end of the game.

Bayliss is waiting on disciplinary action from the Football Association.

A statement on the website read: "The board can confirm that Dave Bayliss was informed that his conduct fell short of what is expected from the club and has been disciplined accordingly.

"The board reiterate their backing of Dave in his position as joint-manager and have offered support to both Dave and fellow manager Darren Sheridan in the development of their managerial careers."

Under the management of Bayliss and Sheridan, Barrow have enjoyed a rise from the Blue Square North up to the Premier, as well as reaching the FA Cup third round two seasons running.
