Pat McAllister was Coleraine's matchwinner in the Nationwide Irish Cup sixth round match at Seaview. The Bannsiders' skipper struck a rising left-foot shot into the net from a Stephen Carson cross for the only goal four minutes before half-time.
It was sweet moment for McAllister who missed last year's final against Glentoran because of suspension.
Coleraine, into the quarter-finals for the sixth time in seven seasons, will play Linfield or Glentoran on 5 March.
Colin Magill looked the most likely Crusaders player to get an equaliser, but he headed wide from six yards after Stephen McBride had set the chance up.
