Paul Straney was back in goals for Cliftonville |
Cliftonville stopped the rot with a battling draw at Lakeview Park but they could not find a way past Loughgall keeper Marc Robinson. Having lost four in a row in the Irish Premier League, the Belfast Reds fond themselves in the one-from-bottom relegation play-off slot.
But their point against Loughgall moves them ahead of north Belfast rivals Crusaders on goal difference.
Loughgall have not won at home since the opening day of the campaign.
Cliftonville welcomed back keeper Paul Straney who had missed several games after sustaining a neck injury in a traffic accident.
Straney was in early action, saving from Stevie Coulter in the third minute.
At the other end, Cliftonville's George McMullan saw a header well saved by Robinson.
