 Tommy Wright's Limavady United beat Ballymena 2-1 |
Limavady United moved up to fourth place in the Irish Premier League table with goals from Stewart McCallum and Kevin Ramsey enough to beat Ballymena. Tommy Wright's men were on top for most of the match with Paul Brown testing keeper William McFrederick and Ryan McIlmoyle having a header cleared.
McCallum headed Liamvady ahead on 60 minutes but Ballymena hit back when Justin McBride scored 12 minutes later.
But Limavady sealed the win with former Ballymena striker Ramsey the hero.
His deflected effort on 80 minutes looped over the stranded McFrederick to give Limavady victory.
