Institute 3-1 Coleraine
Institute player-manager Paul Hegarty
Paul Hegarty's Institute beat Coleraine in Drumahoe
Institute celebrated their first win over North-West rivals Coleraine in the Irish Premier League thanks to goals from Ryan Coyle and Gareth Sproule (2).

The victory took Institute into the top half of the table, now level on points with Coleraine.

Coyle tucked away the opener on 31 minutes after Sproule had pulled the ball back from the bye-line.

Sproule then got on the scoresheet himself, sweeping the ball into the net for 2-0 on 72 minutes.

Coleraine pulled one back when Stephen Carson set up Jody Tolan for a side-foot finish in the 87th minute.

But 'Stute nerves were settled when Sproule bagged his brace with the derby going into stoppage-time.
