A superb first-half brace from striker Richard Harris and another by substitute Stuart Roberts earned Wycombe a 3-1 home win over Notts County.

Having survived a torrid opening, Wycombe went ahead in the 15th minute from their first attack of the game. Impressive Harris fired home his fourth goal of the season from inside the area.

Harris struck again three minutes later after Magpies defender Nick Fenton had lost possession and the Wycombe striker drilled a fine drive past goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall.

The Chairboys added their third goal just before the hour-mark through Roberts, who delivered a stunning 25-yard curler which drifted over diving Mildenhall.

County scored a consolation goal with Mark Stallard claiming his 15th of the season.
