Grimsby 3-3 Preston

Two goals in the last 10 minutes gave Preston a share of the spoils after a dramatic game at Blundell Park.

Stuart Campbell put Grimsby ahead after just two minutes before Richard Cresswell equalised, but Simon Ford and Darren Mansaram then gave Paul Groves' side a two-goal cushion.

Graham Alexander pulled one back from the penalty spot after 82 minutes after Ford was dismissed for hauling down Ricardo Fuller and Dickson Etuhu levelled with three minutes left with a header following a corner.

Preston have now drawn nine times this season while the Mariners stretched their unbeaten run to four games.

The hosts took the lead after just two minutes when Campbell scored his third goal of the campaign.

Wes Parker's long ball found him and, after some sloppy defending, the 24-year-old made no mistake as he drilled a low left-foot shot into the bottom corner of the net.

Alan Pouton was booked for a foul on Alexander after 24 minutes and from the free-kick Cresswell bundled the ball home from six yards to make it 1-1.

Stacy Coldicott's left-foot volley went wide at the other end as Grimsby attempted to immediately restore their advantage, with Mansaram also going close twice.

Grimsby regained the lead against the run of play just before the hour when Ford rose above Tepi Moilanen to head home Mansaram's cross from the right.

With 10 minutes to go 18-year-old Mansaram made it 3-1 when he lashed the ball home after playing a delightful one-two with Steve Livingstone.

Ford was dismissed for a professional foul on Fuller after 82 minutes and from the spot-kick Alexander pulled one back before Etuhu levelled matters in a dramatic finale.
