AFC Telford boss Sinton seeks striker and goalkeeper
Sinton is concerned about injuries
AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton has targeted a new striker and a goalkeeper to bolster his side's Blue Square North promotion push.
"Andy Brown has been carrying an injury and Adam Proudlock has been out so I do need someone extra up front," Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
Sinton also wants a goalkeeper as Ryan Young starts a suspension shortly.
"I'm not saying Daniel Platt couldn't step straight in, but I want some cover," the manager explained.
Proudlock is expected to be fit for Saturday's trip to promotion rivals Boston, but Brown is rated as "touch and go."
And following last Tuesday's win over Vodkat League side Eccleshall, Sinton is hoping to arrange another midweek friendly to keep his squad players on their toes.
