Ian Jenkins says they are prepared to pay Hamici more to keep him

Cray's top scorer Laurent Hamici is already being watched by bigger clubs, according to manager Ian Jenkins.

The 23-year-old Frenchman has scored 12 goals in his first 10 games this season, having joined the Ryman Premier Division club in the summer.

Jenkins told BBC Radio Kent: "I'll have a chat with the chairman to get him a bit more money, I don't know about a contract though.

"But he's happy, if you're doing well and you're scoring goals why leave it?"

Jenkins added: "If a big club comes in yes, why not move, but why go up just a couple of levels when you can enjoy it down here?"
