Bruce Inkango impresses Gillingham's Andy Hessenthaler
Andy Hessenthaler signed Inkango on a three-month deal
Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler has predicted new signing Bruce Inkango will excite the club's fans.
The 26-year-old French winger came on for the last 17 minutes in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Burton Albion.
Hessenthaler told BBC Radio Kent: "He will bring more to us once he gets used to Gillingham and full-time football.
"He was nervous, he wants to pass it, but we don't want him to pass it, we want him to get at defenders, especially late in the game."
Inkango joined the Gills on a three month contract after a successful trial, having been released by Paris-based French third division side Red Star 93.
"He'll get fans off their seats; he did that in the short time he was on and I'm delighted for the kid," added Hessenthaler.
