Richard Davies and Tyree Clarke trial for AFC Telford

Telford boss Andy Sinton is building a new squad after replacing Rob Smith

AFC Telford are looking at ex-Walsall midfielder Richard Davies and former Norwich winger Tyree Clarke ahead of the new Blue Square Bet North campaign.

"I want to give everyone a chance in our friendly games," Bucks boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.

Davies, 20, is the brother of Bolton's Mark and came through the youth ranks at Walsall, making three appearances before his release this summer.

Luton have also watched Clarke (18) after his summer release by Norwich.

Sinton has a squad core bolstered by trialists, and has promised to look at all of them in a series of pre-season friendlies - even if that means playing completely different XIs in each half of a game.

But he will not take any risks over two early injury worries. Ashley Woolliscroft has a calf strain, while Sean Newton tweaked his groin in the recent friendly against The New Saints.
