Jack Defty and brother Charlie were regulars for the old King's Lynn FC
King's Lynn Town have confirmed Jack Defty as their first signing since the club re-formed.
The 28-year-old striker returns to The Walks, where he previously scored 90 goals in 308 appearances, after a year with Corby Town.
The club's operations manager Jonathan Chapman said: "We have managed to convince him to come back and he wants to stay with the club."
Defty was released in 2009 when King's Lynn were a Unibond Premier side.
Also making a return to the club is 24-year-old defender Brady Stone.
Stone made seven first-team appearances for the Linnets until his release in January 2004.
In 2006 he joined Ely City who he leaves having secured fans' and players' player-of-the-season awards.
King's Lynn Town are currently preparing for the 2010/11 season in the United Counties League after the club's previous incarnation, King's Lynn FC, was wound up last December.
