King's Lynn have won the Southern League title after beating Merthyr 2-0 in the final game of the season.
Matt Nolan scored the opener by slotting home a cross from fellow striker Jack Defty who doubled the lead 10 minutes into the second half.
King's Lynn will are now promoted to the Football Conference.
Manager Keith Webb told BBC Radio Norfolk: "It's been an emotional rollercoaster this year to say the least but we've got there in the end."
He added: "The players deserve every credit and plaudit they get tonight and we'll enjoy the moment."
The Linnets went into the game level on points with second-placed Team Bath, only taking top spot due to goal difference.
But they could not manage a win so King's Lynn were crowned champions, winning the league by just two points.
