King's Lynn have the largest home support in the Southern League
Chairman Ken Bobbins has urged King's Lynn to win promotion at Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday for the good of the town.
The Linnets need to win their last game of the season to confirm their status as Southern League Premier champions.
Bobbins saved the club from financial ruin four years ago and says it is a club perfectly suited to playing at Blue Square Premier level.
"King's Lynn requires Conference football, it's set up for it, the town needs it, we have to get it," he said.
Lynn have finished third for the last two seasons, losing in the play-offs on each occasion.
We all feel that the team is by far the best team in the League

If Lynn fail to beat Merthyr and Team Bath beat Chippenham, the Linnets will face the play-offs once again, something Bobbins is trying not to think about.
"We need to win this outright, we don't want to go through the play-offs," he said.
"Obviously it will be tense and nervous, but we all feel that the team is by far the best team in the league."
Bobbins has also expressed his gratitude to the King's Lynn supporters, who have at least four official supporters buses going to the match in south Wales.
"Four coaches is fantastic, plus I think quite a few mini-buses," he added. "As usual when King's Lynn Football Club needs support it's there."
Listen to full-match commentary on BBC Radio Norfolk 855 and 873MW and online from 1500 BST on Saturday.
