Crown Meadow had a carnival atmosphere as the trophy was presented
It was party time again at Crown Meadow on Saturday as the curtain came down on another glorious season for Lowestoft Town.
The Blues signed off their campaign with a 3-0 win over Tilbury and after the game were presented with the Ryman Division One North trophy.
The victory also saw them go over 100 points meaning they've reached the century mark in both points and goals the last two seasons as they achieved successive promotions.
Gary McGee was once again on the score sheet for the Trawler Boys on what was his 400th appearance for the club.
Apparently preparations for next season begin this Thursday!
Great Yarmouth Town will have to put league title celebrations on hold after drawing with FC Clacton on Tuesday.
The Bloaters were assured promotion when they beat Fakenham Town 2-1 at the weekend.
Anything less than a win and the battle will go to the last round of games. Fingers crossed, Paul Tong's side can finish the job off in front of home support and avoid the need for 'squeaky bum' time.
Finally, a small contingent from Wroxham FC managed to get a taste of Wembley last week.
Skipper Graham Challen and fellow centre-half Martin McNeil were among a delegation who met their counterparts from Whitley Bay at the national stadium.
I'm sure they will have briefed their team-mates as to what to expect, although I believe the whole squad will be doing a tour of the stadium on the Friday before the Final.
