Harrogate Town sign four players from doomed Farsley
Weaver has tried more than 50 players for Harrogate Town this season
Harrogate Town have signed four players from Farsley Celtic, after their Yorkshire rivals were removed from the Football Conference.
Celtic failed to complete their last three Blue Square North fixtures after administrators rejected several rescue packages from a consortium.
Ex-York City trainees, centre-back Josh Radcliffe and left winger Liam Shepherd have made the move to North Yorkshire.
Right winger Roy Stamer and midfielder Dave Syers have also joined Town.
Weaver told BBC Radio York: "Farsley's demise is unfortunate but I had to get in there and make a move on players.
"I think they'll make us a stronger unit," Weaver added. "And they showed against all odds at Farsley, with their futures in jeopardy, they could stay strong as a unit.
I need a team of scrappers and fighters and people with strong wills

"That can only help us, bringing in personalities like they have. I think we'll be a stronger team for it."
Stamer and Syers are not available for the Stalybridge game, but Radcliffe's arrival has postponed Weaver's comeback as a player.
"I'd rather give someone like that a chance than bring out my boots again," he added.
Town desperately need points from Stalybridge, with last week's 4-0 home defeat by Celtic leaving Town five points adrift at the foot of the table.
Farsley's demise will help Town's chances of escaping relegation but Weaver's side are five points from safety.
"I need a team of scrappers and fighters and people with strong wills, and I think we will accumulate points sooner rather than later," he added.
