Workington boss Darren Edmondson played down the prospect of a promotion push from his players after Saturday's 1-1 draw with Corby Town.
Edmonson's Reds are six points behind AFC Telford, who occupy the final Blue Square North play-off place, with four games in hand after 28 matches.
"Other people might be talking about it," Edmondson told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"But we've got a lot of tough travels over the next few weeks so it doesn't get any easier."
The former Carlisle United defender admitted a half-time blast to his players was needed on Saturday.

The Reds conceded after just seven minutes but were rewarded for an improved second-half display with Gareth Arnison's impressive equalising strike.
"We used some choice words with them at half-time," Edmondson said.
"The majority of the times you'd say endeavour was excellent and that's what got us back in the game today."
