Worcester City striker Rob Elvins says their win at Dover was simply down to team spirit.
The 23-year-old played as an emergency central defender in Worcester's depleted squad, but still managed to score the second goal in the 2-0 win.
Elvins told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We had players missing and players out of position but the team spirit and togetherness at the club is quality.
"We have to go to Bromley on Saturday and get the same battling performance."
He added: "We played them first game of the season and we should have won but mistakes cost us."
Elvins also praised stand-in striker Mark Owen, who had retired but came back to help the struggling Blue Square South side.
"He came off after 45 minutes and we had fresh legs in Matt Dinsmore," said Elvins.
"He did a job for us, he battled and did what we needed."
There will be full commentary on Bromley v Worcester City on Saturday, 13 March (1500 GMT) on 738 AM and online at bbc.co.uk/herefordandworcester.
