Falmouth Town discuss a ground share with Truro City

Truro City FC

Falmouth Town have confirmed they have been holding talks with Truro City about a possible ground share at their Bickland Park home.

The arrangement would not come into place before the 2011-12 season.

Falmouth's chief executive Mike Varney told BBC Cornwall that Truro could play at Bickland Park while they look for a new site to upgrade their facilities.

Varney said: "It's early doors at the moment, but there's so many hoops to be jumped through in some respects."

The plans for a ground share between the two clubs would need to be approved by the Football Association and both the South West Peninsula and Southern Premier leagues.
