Harrogate draw at Gateshead in FA Trophy first round
Blue Square North strugglers Harrogate Town forced an FA Trophy first round replay after a 1-1 draw at Gateshead.
Brian Dutton gave Town the lead in the 80th minute but Steven Richardson equalised for the Blue Square Premier side just four minutes later.
Town boss Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York: "Our shape was very good and I thought we defended very well."
The replay is set to be played on 15 December, with the winners facing either Chippenham Town or Arlesey Town.
Weaver added: "It was an excellent performance. We attacked in numbers and caused them real problems from set pieces, where we seemed to be a threat."
And Weaver said that he was happy with his two latest full debutants, left-winger Jimmy Ghaichem and striker Simon Yeo.
"Simon can have a quiet spell in the game, and then he'll sniff out a chance. I thought he may have earned a penalty."
Let's not talk about potential, we need results now

The Town boss added that three new signings for the side would help to improve competition for starting places.
"People have got to raise their game if they want to stay at Harrogate or stay in the team. The levels have been lifted by the quality (of players) we've brought in.
"Let's not talk about potential, we need results now."
