Gainsborough Trinity have signed former Grimsby striker Darren Mansaram and ex-King's Lynn centre-half Andrew Boyce.

Boyce, 20, was a free agent after the Linnets folded, but he will not feature in Saturday's FA Trophy tie away at Southport as he is cup-tied.

Mansaram joins on non-contract terms after spending last season at League of Ireland side Dundalk.

The 25-year-old will make his debut for Gainsborough once they receive international clearance.

Manager Brian Little has been looking to add to his squad following the departures of centre-half Idrissa Alassane, midfielder Mark Hudson and striker Glynn Hurst.

He told BBC Lincolnshire: "Darren will give us that extra pace up front which we need and give us a variation.

"Andrew was highly sought after, quite a few teams were chasing him so I'm pleased we got in there first."
