Sutton admits goalkeeper Rob Burch may leave the club
Burch joined Lincoln in July 2008 after his release by Sheffield Wednesday
Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton admits the Imps may allow goalkeeper Rob Burch to leave during the January transfer window.
Burch, 25, who is out of contract at the end of the season, is a target for Premier League clubs Bolton and Burnley and Championship side Doncaster.
Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "He wants to play at the highest level and it's his right to keep his options open.
"As much as we'd like to keep him, we have to be realistic."
Sutton has already run the rule over former Celtic goalkeeper Scott Fox, 22, who played as a trialist in Lincoln's reserve match against Hartlepool on Tuesday.
"If things do happen and Rob leaves we have to be ready to bring in a replacement which is why we're looking at other keepers," Sutton added.
