Carl Heggs got his first win at King's Lynn with a 4-0 victory at Burscough in the Unibond Premier League.
Gareth Sheldon opened the scoring before Burscough conceded an own goal, then Anthony Robinson scored two second-half goals on his Linnets debut.
Lynn manager Heggs told BBC Radio Norfolk he has high hopes for 28-year-old Robinson.
"He's the Unibond version of Drogba, he's big, powerful, he'll put himself about and score goals," he said.
