Banbury United manager Billy Jeffrey is hoping to add to his squad as he prepares for the start of the season in the Southern League Premier.
After earning a reprieve from relegation at the end of last season, Jeffrey is hoping to build a strong squad to avoid a repeat struggle.
He told BBC Oxford: "We're still looking (for players). I'm looking for another centre-back.
"We'll do our best to find someone in the next couple of weeks."
"We've got a lot of new faces coming in because we're trying to build the squad but we've got a good set of lads who are working hard in training."
Centre-back Luke Bennett picked up a knee injury in a defeat at Stamford and Jeffrey is hoping the defender will not be on the sidelines for too long.
"Luke's going to see a specialist and hopefully it's not his cruciate ligament again. We've got out fingers crossed for the lad," he said.
