Jeffrey has experience already in the Southern League
British Gas Business League Premier Division side Banbury United have named former Oxford United midfielder Billy Jeffrey as their new manager.
He replaces Kieran Sullivan, who resigned on 9 March.
Jeffrey, 52, played 353 games for the U's from 1973 to 1982 and has had spells in charge of Stamford and Rugby.
A statement from Banbury said: "The football club firmly believe that Billy has all the appropriate qualities and experience needed to steer the team."
Jeffrey's first game as Banbury boss will be at home to Stourbridge on Tuesday.
