Oxford United manager Chris Wilder has warned the Blue Square Premier pace-setters that his side have not given up on the play-offs.
Thursday's 2-1 win at Kettering lifted United to sixth spot, just three points behind Stevenage Borough.
Wilder believes there is more to come from his team. He said: "It is getting closer and closer and they smell it.
"I sense in the changing rooms they smell it. It is getting tighter and everyone is having a look at us."
He added: "We have a lot of tough hurdles still to overcome before the end of the season."
