Blue Square North side Farsley Celtic have signed former Alfreton Town goalkeeper Steve Dickinson.
The 35-year-old former Southport stopper, who was managed by Farsley boss Neil Parsley at Guiseley, replaces the departing Curtis Aspden.
"Steve has agreed to join us and I'm delighted that he has," Parsley told BBC Radio Leeds.
"Unfortunately it's as replacement for Curtis because we weren't able to offer him terms that were acceptable to him."
Parsley added: "This club cannot offer deals like it did when it was in the Conference the season before last, so we have to cut our cloth accordingly.
Dickinson began his career at Bradford City and has also played for Leigh Genesis and Burscough, along with two spells at Guiseley.
Farlsey have also announced a pre-season match at their former striker Phil Sharpe's Harrogate Railway on Saturday, 1 August with a 1500 BST kick-off.
They will also face FC Halifax Town, Leeds United, Garforth Town and Yorkshire Amateurs in friendlies.
Meanwhile the West Yorkshire club have launched their ladies team for the 2009-10 season.
The team will begin life in the West Riding Women's League second division and be managed by last season's under-17's girls' boss Rob Womersley.
